Funny, Iowa is one of 3 other states I aply for deer tags the past few years. I love MD, Ive been bowhunting here for 26 years and havebeen very successful,but, if I had to choose based on your situation, I'd be on my way to Iowa. Several main reasons, the first is because Ive hunted here for 26 years lol, cost of houses and property, traffic, human population, private hunting property competition, I could go on but I think you get the point.MD does have some things you could never get in Iowa. Incredible offshore fishing, Chesapeake Bay, beaches and bikini's galore,fresh blue crabs, plenty of things to do andbeing placed right in the middle of the East Coast lots ofdestinations within a few hours drive.Have fun in Iowa and I hope you find that deer hunting mecca we all dream about.
