In south carolina its legal to trap foxes and coyotes live and sell them to fox pens. You can get about 20-40 for grey foxes 50-100 for reds and 100-120 for coyotes depending on when you sell them and who you sell them to. Im not to sure about the fur prices anywhere else but down here you can get more for selling them live then selling there fur. You may want to check your regs to see if you can do that in your state but, you do have to put out a little bit more cash to buy soft catch traps b/c if you break the leg or foot its not worth as much. You can also get ok money from the non-target animals such as coons and bobcats that wander up on your traps.It should be about 120-170 bucks for a dozen ofthe # 1 1/2 coilsprings I use but you may want to do it just for rfur and i dont know to much about that.
