Speed is great to a point - I like other features more. exaples are a smooth draw, easy to tune, queit. I have found that fixed blade broadheads can be shot up to speeds of 300fps but it gets real critical to get them tuned sometimes. when I just backed down to around 280-285 it is much easier to get fixed blade heads to fly great. When it comes to hunting - accuracy is always number one in my book and if that means backing the speed down a bit to get it then the speed has to go!
