RE: Scent control...how far do you go?
I use some scent block spray before I take off in the morning.
I usually hunt very steep country and there are normally definite thermals down in the morning/everning and then switching to uphill during the day.
Climbing a couple thousand feet up or down in the morning to get into position before light can definitely get you to sweating, so I mainly just watch the wind and don' t waste money on scent control products.
I can definitely see how tree stand hunting or hunting in flatter country with more random winds the scent control products might help a lot. I have heard very good reviews on the charcoal suits (scentlocker).
