I live on the eastern shore as well. I am lucky to have some private hunting spots and for now, I don't have to pay for them (I do help at harvest time and do things to help when I can) The thing that would deter me from coming to this state is the taxes. The central part of this state, Baltimore, p g county, mont county rule this state with a very liberal hand. The taxes just went thru the roof and the governor is already wanting more. I do live close to Delaware, so I can shop some there to get away from the sales tax, De has none. If I were just starting out, I would probably look somewhere other than here, unless I was very liberal in my political views. It seems a lot of people in this state don't care, they just keep voting in the dems.
