It'll depend on how old they are when you plant them. If you are thinking of doing it this year, get a soil analysis done right away. You may have to fertilize/lime the area which needs to be done pretty much now. Soils analysis takes about two weeks.We just finishedliming and prunningmy apples this past weekend. Also make sure the trees get plenty of sun.
