I simply close my left eye and shoot right, but I wish I could make the switch. For bow and shotgun both eyes would allow greater night vision and depth perception. I once asked my eye doctor if I could train my right eye to be dominant by wearing an eye patch, she said it would be much easier to become left handed! If switching is an option for you I say do it.
