Default RE: Ruger Mini 14 TARGET?

IMO, and probably a few others here as well, there's nothing remotely close to a Mini-14 being a target rifle, as in beingMOA accurate. I'm sure that there are some here that'll say that theirs will shoot gnats off a plate of grits in a heavy fog at 100 yards, but I haven't found that to be the case.

I think the whole purpose of the Mini-14 was to give the American shooter a simular version of its big brother, the M-14, which we all know was one of the best battle rifles that this great nation has ever produced. The Mini-14 fell well short of living up to its big brothers reputation for accuracy.

IMO, they're really good plinkers. The ammo they shoot can be, and will be readily available for eons to come, so buying one wouldn't be a bad idea, as long as you don't expect thumbnail size groups from it. Simp
