I think its great for young hunters to connect on big deer. I dont think there is a better way to get a youngster hooked on hunting. Yeah, sure some people get disgusted when a begginer out does them. I just chalk it up to begginers luck. On the other hand there are times when its not begginers luck. Take the Tony Luvesten buck, forgive my spelling if its wrong. His father, uncle and who ever else had been watching and triing to pattern that buck for a couple of years from what I hear. It just so happened right before the regular season that buck would disapear every time. Theywere lucky enoughto have a youngster that was able to go on the early muzzle loader season before the buck dissapeared. Yeah was he lucky that he got the buck, of course. On the other hand it seems like they used the kid to get credit for the deer. Just one of those stories that seems a little on the shady side to me.
