Good thing not a catcher,

Jeff the thing thatintrigued me was a previous Quote in the pronghorn thread that you are using a guide because you know no one on your trip in 09, so you can not hunt unless
you are in your comfort zone at home or guided? How do you expect to get one someday then?
Fraley I swear....I have NO IDEA of what you're trying to get at or what point you're trying to make.
I'm using an outfitter. I have no idea if we'll need a "guide" to say...."there's the water hole.....they'll be coming from all directions" or not. We'll probably be able to figure that out on our own.
If I were a die-hard Pronghorn hunter....and I hunted them for an extended season (I dunno.....maybe like .....whitetails, here)....then I wouldn't consider a guide. I'm going on this trip because some friends are going....and it is what it is. We could as easily be hunting jackelopes and I wouldn't care.
The rest of your presumptive (albeit false)post makes no sense. I have no idea where you dream this stuff up.
And you guyssure have a lot of gall making the assumption that everyone's SO enthralled with P&Y bucks that you believe it's everyone's goal in life to get themselves one. Here's the thing.....it ain't that big on my list of things to do in life.....or even hunting. I wonder if it would be so high on many people's lists.....if they lived here. Living where you guys do.....and being P&Y buck fans.....is kinda like living in Quebec and being fond of people who speak French.
