I agree with Dave and a couple of others; I had a see through on a .308 rifle and never could get the thing to be of any use. It also made the height of the scope uncomfortable. I would not use one ever again. Of course I am also old enough that I can't see the iron sights very good anyway. When I had the see through I could but never could get lined up fast enough for them to be of use. It just made getting the scope online slower also.
