RE: Windy Days
Based on my experience, the wind plays little into deer movement. Of course this does not include gale force winds, etc. but for those days when the winds kicks up to 25-30 mph, deer move a lot more than folks realize.
Deer will move even when it's very windy and blustery and they will move a lot. They don't stay bedded nearly as much as most folks think. The deer have been exposed to windy days since the days they were born. They realize what affects it has on their ability to sense danger and their overall survival instincts.
They may be a little more skittish and deer sightings may be down but not nearly as I used to think.
