Canada certanly has excellent Bear hunts..I firmly believe that you get what you pay for....Once in a while there may be a bargin..but Outfitters know their product.Jim Shockey gets the most of anyone for a Black Bear hunt. He gets $9000. for a spot & stalk BC Island Bear hunt. His Sask. area gets only around $2500.You can't compare the two. Many people start with a baited Bear hunt because of price .But once they come on a spot & stalk BC hunt, they usally never go back...It cost alot more but there is more value....You are fully guided, seeing hundreds of square miles.We see 100 to 125 bears per 5 day hunt between the crew....Its not for everyone.....but wow is it exciting !
