RE: Would it wear your tag?
How would a person know if they killed it or the yotes killed it. I mean it is not beyond the realm of possibility that the yotes ran down a wounded deer and finished it. Also what if you wound one and yotes don't kill it but the wound gets infected and the animal eventually dies and you stumble upon it later, you tag that one too? Or you wound one and track it but never recover it, thenlater in the season you find it, tag that one too? What if you don't have a tag left for that animal, call DNR and turn yourself in? The second 2 scenarios don't really fit the out of state hunt theme, I was just wondering how others would approach those scenarios.
I'm going by the letter of the law if the law says I have to tag it then I will if I'mnot required toothen I am not burning a tag. I found no law saying I have to where I hunt but that is not to sayother states don't have them.
