If it is a buck and the yotes got to it before I did... I would tag it. Doesn't matter if it is an out of state hunt or not. Bottom line in all honesty... I chose to kill itfor what was on it's head not the meat it was packing. Since I am not limited to just one deer per year, I am rack hunting when it comes to bucks.

If I shot a doe and the yotes got it... I wouldn't tag it nor would I burnthe tag. That doesn't fill the freezer. It has nothing to do with not respecting the deer. Trust me, I would be kicking myself in the arse for blundering.


If I made bad shots on a coupledeer ina year where coyotes are getting tothem before I do or if I couldn't find them period... I would stop bowhunting and figure out what I am doing wrong before blundering more. I owe that to the deer.
