I generally goat least10 grains per pound. I don't like the way my bows feel and soundwhen arrows get much lighter than that. FOC no less than 10%, so what ever head weight it takes to get there. Material of construction? I won't use any arrow that's noteitherwood, aluminum, fiberglass, carbon, aluminum/carbonor carbon/glass composite. I really like wood and the way it makes the bow feel. Aluminum is so consistent and shoots great. And I've gotten to be quite a fan of the carbon/glass composite arrows for their durability.

Haven'tgotten into the carbon arrow/extreme FOC stuff yet, but I do need to try it.
