You guys are making it too complicated. Gross is total inches (yes abnormal points included)with no deductions.

My guess is 154"
This is wrong for P&Y/B&C scoring. For typical deer you do NOT add the abnormal points to the gross score.

Sometimes people confuse odd points with abnormal points. Odd points occur on 7, 9 11 and 13 pointers etc. These points are added to the gross score and then are subtracted out for the net score. Abnormal points are sticker points, drop tines, forks etc. These points are not added to the gross but are subtracted from the gross to obtain the net.

Example: you have a great 12 pointer, a 10 point with matching 4" forked g-2s. To arrive at the net score you subtract all the side to side differences and then subtract 8" for the matching forks.

My point is.... why subtract the forks?, they had nothing to do with the eveness of the other tines.
I hear you, Greg.I guess I didnt clarify it enough. Most of the time when someone on this site or in general says their deer scored 134" gross, they added all points, abnormal or typical, with no deductions. Its just common sense when someone says gross, to assume that unless stated otherwise. K.I.S.S.
