There's a lot than can be done to the rifle to get even match grade accuracy from factory stock parts. If you are handy working on them and have a detailed knowledge about this particular model,you can actually get a "sleeper" rifle-looks like stock but shoots like custom. The first way of course,is a good trigger job. next yyou can glass bed and free float barrel-this includes reaming inside of barrel band on barrel part-not forend stock part. Milling bolt face to .043 rim depth really helps on headspace and accuracy. The last,most complex,upgrade you can do to your 10/22 invloves setting the barrel back to acchive a tighter chamber. This step shouldn't be attempted without extensive machining experience however.
