These heads are what made me never use a machanical ever again. I thought they were the next best thing until I shot a doe at 10 yards with them. I shot her right through the heart and the blades didn't open not one of them. I shot her in the snow and I watched her go down, I went to get my arrow covered in blood....but..... didn't leave a blood trail in the snow!!!!!!!!! I took the heart out when I was gutting her and it looked like a 22 hole through her heart!! the blades didn't open. I sure this won't happen everytime but once was enough for me.

Tune your bow and use a fixed head that flys well, Stinger, G5, slick trick, muzzy and many more. Mechanicals just offer something else that can go wrong, in bow hunting you can't afford for things like this to go wrong, it's not fair to the animal.
