My blackpowder is a .50cal TC Thunderhawk. And though there are some things about it that I really don't like - Its been a good gun for me since I started extending my season. I Shoot .44 calibar XTP hollowoints in front of 2 pellets.I've taken my share of deer with it, and on drier days its been reliable.

Understand - I'mno BPpurist, I love to deer hunt - and have really grown to enjoy that last weekend of blackpowder. The guns in the distance are silent - and the deer are already so much less pressured.

I do like this section of Hunting Net - Ive picked up some good info on here from you BP guys.
