Default RE: Anyone have a Moultrie I40?

I'll have one tomorrow.

There is a specific Moultrie camera forum on www.chasingame.com that has all kinds of information on them.

They did have some whiteout issues and there is a software upgrade that corrects that but at the expense of causing the camera to take more IR photos so some folks are not upgrading. I'm going to set mine out as it is and see if I havea whiteout issue before upgrading the software.

The good thing about them is that they have a great trigger time (equal or better to a Cuddeback) and have amazing battery life (folks are reporting several months and 3,000+ pictures on 1 set of batteries).

For $200 they seem to be the best bang for the buck on the mid priced cameras IMO.
