Gee. I guess based upon the concern they have about excessive force, if the only weapon I happen to have handy is my .375 H&H, I'd better let the perp shoot me. Got the name of that helpful government employee? My widow'sattorney will be calling on their agency.

So, here's the problem with many of today's government bureaucrats. They forget who they work for sometimes. It's not this person's job to become your hypothetical prosecutor and jury. It's this person's job to tell you whether or not it's legal to transport a firearm from one state to another. A "yes" or "no" wouldhavesufficed here.

Otherwise, there's a book out there I see advertised frequently in the RV community that lists the transport requirements for every state. Reading through my dad's copy, I found it very informative. I can try finding a link to it if you're interested?
