I think you will love the KOA knives. D2 is a little harder to resharpen but it holds an adge really well. I just looked at the Elk Hunter again today at Sportsmans Warehouse. I have the Bushman, two Cub Bear, The Alpha Wolf, the Muskrat Skinner and the Alaskan Trailmaster Camp/Trail knife. Still looking at the Magnum Boar Hunter.
