Preference or Bonus points are something that you' ll have to get use to if you want to hunt in the West. Most states have these points and depending on the state either you have to purchase a license or just pay for the points. A few states have where you can apply online and just pay the points fee and if drawn they' ll take it from your credit card. Nevada/Utah/Arizona have online pruchasing but Nevada and Arizona you' ll have to purchase a hunting license prior to applying. Utah is the easiest but your a little late. Closes by Jan 31. If applying in Colorado you' ll have to send the entire fee and if not drawn they' ll return everything but the application fee. Same is true for Wyoming and New Mexico.
