thats just the reason whyi dont want a 270, everybody has one. im not saying its a bad cartrige or the 25-06 is superior, but i would just like something a little different. my 308 is very old and im begining to think the barrel is fouled based on the groups im getting.
Then get an 280 Rem., and you will have something "different" andSTILL have something one he!! of a lot better for elk than a 25-06....
