Default RE: Wyoming elk this year

elknut1,
I use either the 90 or 100 gr. 4 blade (which ever I can find the best deal on in the summer is what I shoot in the fall...can' t see any difference in flight)...it is a great shooting BH. Arrow length is 29" , and total arrow weight is around 435 grains. This year I' ve discovered fall away rests and am experimenting with the old skinny carbons (Easton P/C) at 495 gr. . I' ll still be shooting the Muzzy' s though. Out of 5 elk shot, I' ve never had one not pass through. In fact, in all but one case, I found the arrow FARTHER away than I have found the elk!!!!

Logs,
If you want to retire to a nice place in WY, look into the Pinedale area. It' s about an hour drive to some of the best elk hunting and trout fishing in the world. I personally want to retire to Cody!!
