Find a coin, and toss it.

There'll be no appreciable difference in the deadness of the dear, nor how quickly they assume that state.
There'll be no trouble finding ammo anywhere you go, nor will there be any limit to the choices of bullets available to you, nor will there likely be much of a difference inthe price ofammo. that's meant for hunting purposes.

There'll be nomeaningful difference in trajectory at the ranges you mention.

There'll be no problem finding virtually any brand/make/model/style of rifle you could desire that would be chambered for either cartridge.

The only real difference would be if you really get excited about the slight difference in handling between a long action & a short action rifle.

And if you ever did want to hunt bigger critters, either cartridge would serve you there, too.

Pick either one, and start practicing!
