One thing I had come across with a red dot was that they are not like a regular scope. That is with a regular scope if your ryr is not in the normal place, your vission through the scope will not be clear (you see black sides). This does not happen with the red dot. As it gets colder outside, you add more and heavier clothing onto your body. This moves the but of the stock fruther away from your body, which changes your eye and shooting position. THis could be the cause of your problem. The other thing could be a blad scope, but I would be leaning towards the extra clothing as the problem.
