Default RE: Bedding Areas

I went in this morning early. About an hour before sun-up. It was a nasty, rainy windy day not in my favor. I caught a glimpse of one about 5 yards away but it never appeared. I think there is a thick area they go into. I walked down late in the morning to see if there was any sign. None really but I found a better place to set up with out spooking them going to and from the area. A couple of questions: What are typical deer patterns going to and from feedings and beddings? Another is: I know there are deer all over back there but I have not seen any sign; however I have seen a couple of rubs 15 feet apart and about 100 yards into the woodline from the neighborhood I live. Should I hunt the rub line or more where I "think" I would see more deer?
