As for you saying that the sow and cubs shot by the same hunter then call their buddies on the radio to come tag them. I don't think that is a case. They see the cubs tree they might call their buddies to come shoot them,But I don't think they would shoot them their self. I wouldn't want a friend like that to hunt bear with and prob wouldn't hunt with them again nor would I tag the bear he has shot
Both scenarios you listed are illegal. To radio your friends about a treed bear is illegal as well. I don't like stories about bear cubs being killed by hunters here in Pa. Unfortunately it's still legal and if guys need to boost their egos by killing a 50lb cub so be it. But don't expect to not hear criticism from guys who disagree with your chest pounding.
