For bow season i purchased a pair of snake proof rubber boots for 70 dollars from cabelas. i have a set of gaiters and i never wore them after the first yr i purchased them. Think about it, you have to take them on & off and they are hot on your legs too. I wouldnt keep hunting in Florida without some kind of protection.
