RE: INDIANA hunters
Its just north of the GM plant right off 69. My family does some real estate projects and just purchased this property. Its all slated for development unfortunately. However its a quite a large project and I should be able to hunt it for many more years.
My father n law lives out by Poe and has deer around his house all the time. Said he's had several bucks hanging around I am tempted to go sit on his porch! Ha
As far as our proptery in near Metz that is stickly hunting land, its been managed more for upland game birds but has some potential for deer which we have been doing over the last 5 years. Put in several food plots and planted some evergreen and hardwoods to compliment the warm season grass fields. The only problem with that property is its does not have enough woods, so when the hunting pressure is on I think the deer leave our area and start spending time in the woods near by. Just a guess but I have no other explanation. Seems to happen every year.
