yep, dont use the harsh chemicals...use the foaming cleaners...forget who makes mine, but it doesnt even have a smell to it..fill the bore with foam, let soak for a half hour, patch it dry and your bore is spotless. only thing i found that would get the copper out of the 22-250. i dont know if its the velocity or the bore still being new, but that thing coppers up pretty quick and pretty bad. never had a rifle that collected so much copper...solvents of all kinds got laughed at...i tried a couple...love the foam though..
