If that' s all you have, and that' s what you want to use, keep going with the .22lr or WMR, I' ve taken quite a few yotes with a lr in my day, and have found that the reason people doubt it' s effectiveness on yotes is much similar to why people doubt the effectiveness of .243' s on deer, they' ve never used one and it' s a smaller cartridge than what they' re using, it' s what I like to call " bigboreitus" . Obviously, as you' ve said, the .22rimfires work, a guy just has to treat it for what it is. THAT SAID, since I have one now, I shoot a .22-250, and haven' t used my .22lr on a yote in years, and probably never will again, but only because I can reach out so much farther, but I' d be the last to ever criticize someone for using a .22lr intelligently for coyotes. If you go out and just blast rounds at the first yote you see where-ever he may stand, that' s one thing, but since you said you' ve TAKEN coyotes with it, I' m assuming you' re hunting correctly to fit your arm.
