You can wear tennis shoes and shorts if you want. What matters is if YOU feel safe with what you're wearing. I've got a Redhead Snake boots from BPS and I bought my 8yo son a pair also. After killing a Canebrake/Timber rattler in my driveway I decided it was needed. I'd rather pay a couple hundred now than pay for it later with time spent in the hospital.
