I trap along the Great Miami river north of Dayton. The coon numbers are really down this year and some folks are blaming it on the dry weather. I had traps out for five nights and caught one coon. I have heard similar reports from other folks around here.
i also here people blameing teh DNR on that rabbies vaccine killin them so idk i know a guy who usually tress 150-200 coon a year and has 3 right now so yea it's BAD this year
