RE: Lightfield Slug question
I use Lightfield Hybred EXPslugs in my fathers 11-87 20 ga.It has a 21" fully rifled barrel with the cantilever mount and a Nikon 2-7x32mm Prostaff Shotgun Scope. I'm shooting1 1/2" groups at 50 yardsand 4 inch groups at 100 yards. It was windy that day so I'm sure it'll shoot better then that at 100 yards.I sighted it in2" high at 50 yards per Lightfields web site and it wasat zero at 100 yards. This set up shoots pretty well. It doesn't seem to like the faster 1900 to 2000 fps slugs.[/align][/align]When I get my scope back fromLeupold for my 11-87 12 ga., I'm going to try both the Lightfield 2 3/4"Hyberd EXP andthe 3" Hybred-Elite Magnum slugs in it.My 12 ga. didn't seem to like thefaster slugs either. To be fair though, there was something wrong withmy scope when I shot them, so Ihave to start from scatch.[/align]
