I would tell you to go find a dealer that has on an shoot it, and soon. I did not shoot a Vulcan, but I shot the Vectrix XL, and didn't personally care for it that much. I like the 2006Trykon XL better, and picked on up used about a month ago. The best way to find the right bow for you is to go shoot as many as you can get your hands on. I've heard guys say it is surprisingly forgiving for a low Braceheight ( 6" if I remember correctly) bow. But I think each person's opinion of how a bow shoots varies just a little. My personal thoughts though are that I would never put $500-700 into a bow that I wasn't for sure if I'd even like. Good Luck!!!
