I almost bought an MQ-32 years back, but like several up above, went with the MQ-1... they're great bows, for sure.
As far as suggestions/tips? Definitely look at the string... If it's the original, it DEFINITELY needs to be replaced -- and not with a stock Zebra string. There's too many other high-quality offerings on the market these days that won't continually creep and/or stretch on you.

I'd personally take that grip off, too... and get an aftermarket one. There's a guy named Tronjo on Archery Talk whom you can PM and he'll make you one specifically for it that's a lot thinner which will help you not impart torque onto your new baby.
Other than those two "tips"... enjoy your bow! They're sweet shooters, and if the price was right, you certainly picked up a nice model!
