I was suprised to learn that in Texas you can use a rifle to shoot turkey in the fall season. If I had known this earlier, I could have easily shot one from about 50 yards away while I was walking to my deer blind Saturday afternoon.
My question is where do you shoot them to not destroy the breast meat? I've already shot my deer and I'm thinking about going back out to try to shoot a turkey.
I've got a few of them!
