I spent over a year curling my lip at all the Excal guys in here. They always seemed so happy and enjoyed rubbing it in. I had to take a friend to a shop about an hour away last spring and they had the Exocet on display. I picked it up and was amazed at how much lighter it was then my Horton. I was on a mission ever since then. You and I know Horton's are just fine, but I hated how heavy my Supermax 175 was. Yes the Excal is wider, but only a couple inches when cocked. I like the weight and the ability to tinker more.
