Default RE: Crawford County State Park - Hutsonville, IL

I haven't hunted it for about 5 years, but my ex-brotherinlaw does. He took a nice buck there a couple of weeks ago. Around 1,100 acres. I was also told Thursday by my local pro shopowner that there is a huge 10 pt. buck there. Almost every season there is a nice buck or two taken by bow or gun. Why I don't hunt there I really don't know. I have met guys from Pa. and Michigan there in the past.........all nice guys. There is a big turnaround going on at the local refinery right now, don't know if that will increase the pressure or not. Good luck. By the way, its not a state park. Crawford County Conservation Area is the official name. No camping.
