i have the 2003 catalog and it list the ballistics comparison with 180 gr bullets but doesnt state what they are. the 300 wsm doesnt offer much of the 300 winchester but i hear most people say being a short action is enough for them. ive seen alot of good reports and targets from hunters who realy like the 270 and 300 wsm. seems the 7mm wsm had a slow start and that hurt its sales some. True they shouldnt be running down proven rounds to boost there new shortmags.
