Default RE: Powerbelts

If you like powerbelts, get some of the 405 gr. PBs and call it a day. A buddy uses those with 105 gr. of 777 and you would think the deer were hit with a sledge hammer by looking at the exit wounds. I shot the 348 gr. hollow points for a bit, but switched to a 410 gr. GP conical after not getting exit wounds on the first two deer I shot. With solid chest hits, both deer ran in excess of 100 yards and were a real job to find in the thickcedarplots around here. The PB killed thedeer butI wasn't really impressed with the overallterminal performance. Never did find either bullet while field dressing. The 410GPscreated somegreat exit wounds andneither the deer or the hogI shotlast season went more than 25-30 yards after being hit.
