Are you sure they allow you to shoot rifle calibers in shotgun territory???? I'm from Michigan and I hunted shotgun territory with a single shot T/C contender. The law stipulates that anyhandgun thatcan carry no more than six straight walled catridges bigger than .35 caliber(.357,.41,.44,.45,.454,.460,.480,.50)was allowed, including single shots.If you can shoot a7mm-08 through a pistol in Wisconsin,whydon't theyallow rifles?The bullet will still go a great distance even though its shot from a shorter barrelwith less fps.Double check the law before you buy!
