Default Getting Close

Okay after my chat with Sabotloader and following his instructions I am a lot closer to being happy with my muzzleloader. I took it out yesterday and shot, A LOT! I have a sore shoulder to prove it! Anyways I found out that the 777 isn't going to work for me however I have another gun it seems to work in so I am good there. I ended up with around 90 grains of fff Goex and I plan on going out again later with some Pryodrex Select here in a few days. I started to run a spit patch down the barrel after every shot and then one dry. My groups were about 1 1/2 and with the occasional flintch. Since I was getting tired. This all done at 100 yards and a some what steady picnic table to shoot off of.

Where I am at is trying to get the bullet to hit 2" high at 100 and not hit 1 1/2 low at a 100 since this is where I left off. I ran out of bullets and probally shot 40 to 60. Tried several loads and I am happy with 250 SST and 90 g fff Goex. Still need to do a little tweaking and hopefully I can get what I would like to achieve. When I switched to the Goex I was shooting around 4 to 5 inches lower than with the 777 along with out the recoil. The other thing I found out is my trigger is really stiff. Even the guy with me was really surprised that I was holding as good as group as I was. With that said I need to figure out how to get it adjusted with out sending it back to the MF.

All in all, thanks Sabot Loader and I appreciate your help.
