I disagree with you Big Duane. Nobody is preaching here and this isn't the usual bad shot
ethics police. It is just calling out irresponsible hunters - like people who don't even bother sighting
in their rifles. I happen to get pissed off when someone shows up to hunt with a rifle and they
don't have a clue if it's sighted in.
If you have never bowhunted, and are going out to bowhunt for the first time with a bow, arrows
and broadheads you've never shot, it isn't going to be easy or automatic like you make it sound.
I've let some buddies of mine who've never shot a bow shoot my bow in the backyard and they
miss so badly at 15 yards I don't think they could hit a thing.
Nobody is saying shooting a compound bow is some herculean task requiring years of finely tuned
practice, but not even taking one practice shot? You condone that?
