Gut shot animals hunch up alot, better go back out there and make sure and look some more! They don't always bleed alot so you better make sure!
I'm thinking the same thing. That is how a wounded deer reacts. Epecially stomach orintestine. It would not be normal for a non-hit deer to react that way.
