Yea ,that 's a story of mine from last season ,darn little branch got in the way LOL

Really I do believe you and really It did happen to me last season on a decent 8point buck , I was so sure of a perfect shot and it was right near the end of the evening . I swore I had hit him ,but I did notice that he just ran off into the wood's on a trot with his tail straight in the air ,and that's not how a wounded deer react's, we looked for him ,but being as dark as it was opted to return in the morning. Wereturned in the morning and found my arrow on the ground ,[ no blood]and then backtracked to where I was shooting, only to find a severed branchabout 1/8" laying on the ground right in my shooting lane,didn't see it the night before because of the low light ,but yes it was there and that's my reasoning for my miss . Just keep at it and good thing's will change for you ,Hopefully it was a clean miss .
