well hey yall im matt im 16 first year realy bow hunting i set my stand up and sat in it for abotu an hour and a half and a squirrle climed up my tree then down and i watched it for a while then it started flicking its tail like when they see somthing and i thought i was busted im only 12ft of the ground but had good cover all over me i then looked to my left and a nice 130lbs doe was standing there i had my doe tag closest ive been to a live deer actualy first one ive shot at we dont have high deer. pop. like some places well i shot and she hunched up and tucked her tail and ran i thought i got her i was all excited called my buddie up and he came 30min later to help me find my arrow and i couldnt find it and no blood or nothing so we followed her tracks nothing went back still no arrow looked i knicked this little branch i didnt see i have no clue where my arrow went think it might have went up in the air but i couldnt find it anyways im discuraged 10yrd shot perfect broadside shot just kicked that branch anyways any tips you guys for a new bow hunter first time ive ever used a stand so am i supposed to shot diffrent from one? but yea it would have been a perfect shot if i hadent hit that brand would have been right behind the shoulder anyways trying in the morning i guess
